I.S.A.F. TRAINING AFGHAN NATIONAL ARMY

British soldiers serving with the International Security Assistance Force are leading an initiative to train the fledgling Afghan National Army (ANA) at a training centre in the mountains above Kabul.

60 British officers and other personnel make up the United Kingdom Liaison Training Team (UKLTT) based at Camp Alamo in Kabul. They are spread across three wings: Basic Training, Officer training and Senior NCO training.
